Location

Peppercorn Beach sits on the quiet northern shore of Phú Quốc, in the fishing village of Gành Dầu, on the edge of the National Park. The Cambodian coastline is on the horizon.

Getting here

Phú Quốc International Airport is about 45 minutes away by taxi, and Dương Đông, the main town, about 35 minutes. We can arrange transfers on request.

Eating out

Our own restaurant serves Vietnamese dishes and fresh seafood at fair prices; see the Dining page for the menu. A few other places along the beach have restaurants too, and the village has small local eateries. There are no bars or nightclubs up here. That is rather the point.

Nearby

Phú Quốc's first 18-hole golf course is less than ten minutes away, with a driving range. Clubs, shoes, carts and caddies can be hired at the clubhouse, and green fees are discounted on late afternoons and on Fridays. In the same direction are the Safari park, VinWonders amusement and water park, and the casino. 

Closer to home

Our kayaks, SUP boards and bicycles are free to use. Ride into the village, or paddle along the shore. We can also arrange a fishing or snorkelling trip with a local fisherman, a full island tour or an evening at the night market. See more nearby attractions.

Further afield

For town or the rest of the island, we can book taxis and tours, or help you hire a motorbike for half a day or a full day.

Good to know

Being at the end of the road has its trade-offs. Power cuts happen occasionally, the internet can be slow, and our hot water is solar, so it runs cooler after a few overcast days. If any of these matter for your stay, please keep them in mind when booking.
